Last week on Facebook I promised the return of Tutorial Tuesday.
I've been keeping notes and links to ideas for wonderful tutorials and have lots of possibilities.
I had something of an epiphany
(Don't worry, it didn't hurt :)
I could mindlessly share hints, tips and project tutorials
I could ask you what sort of thing you'd like to read about!
So here goes:
When it comes to on-line tutorials, what sort of thing do you find most helpful and/or entertaining to read?
Projects - e.g. How to make a messenger bag
Techniques - e.g. How to apply bias binding
Tips & Hints - e.g. Tricks for sewing straight seams
What makes a useful tutorial?
And finally, it would also be helpful to know what sorts of sewing are interested in. As you know I have eclectic tastes and at the moment am quite obsessed with dressmaking. I know what many of my followers like to do from their blogs - but I know there are people who read Sew-Happy House who don't leave comments - what do you like to read about?
Embroidery? Patchwork? Mending? Dressmaking? Quilting? Bag making? Pattern-making?
(Note to self: I hope no one asks about free-motion quilting....)
I'd really like to keep Tutorial Tuesday as relevant, and practical as I can, so your feedback would be really helpful, and much appreciated :)
Hope you all have a lovely week.
